“M.E.” is Myrda Monasterial and Eloisa Serrano – co designers for the brand.

The two met while designing for a San Francisco label. They quickly realized

they both hated the annoying fashion dilemma of how to prepare for a busy

day when work called for one outfit and networking events or happy hour

called for something entirely different!

While Myrda lives and works in the city, she often had to pack

a bag everyday and haul it wherever she went.

Eloisa, on the other hand, lives in a nearby suburb and works in the

city so found that her car was quickly becoming her second closet.

So they collaborated on an innovative design concept where one dress

could be worn a few different ways, simply by flipping it, reversing it or

removing a piece! They launched their collection for Spring 2009 and

since have developed the concept to include removable layers that can also

be worn separately. While Myrda considers herself a party girl and Eloisa

drives a Harley, both believe that style and sophisticated design should be

easy and comfortable to wear.
